Glad I Don't Have Much $ in UMD →
I’ve got 4 and only 1 unfinished; KH Birth by Sleep. The disc is wonky in my PSP and I have to borrow Draiden’s to play. So the BC issue isn’t such a big deal for me.
My problem is shelling out the $200 or so to pick up my Vita. Boo.

BC and the Catholic Church
How about the Catholic church stop hiring employees who aren’t Catholic (or cafeteria Catholics)? That would solve the problem that a bunch of old white non-sexual men from telling the rest of us birth control is evil? Amirite?

Democratic Representatives Eleanor Holmes Norton of the District of Columbia and Carolyn Maloney of New York have walked out of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, titled, “Lines Crossed: Separation of Church and State: Has the Obama Administration Trampled on Freedom of Religion and Freedom of Conscience?”
Speaking to reporters outside the hearing room, Holmes Norton lashed...

Very rarely do I write about politics. But because of the recent events having to do with women’s reproductive rights in Virginia, I feel the need to speak up.
Yesterday, the “Personhood Bill” passed in the Virginia House of Delegates. This bill gives rights to a fetus, essentially declaring it…
The Personhood Bill could outlaw some forms of birth control like implants,...
another dead addict?
boxdog1:
I will actually pick up on this one.
Yeah, addicts drop dead. Their families don’t care.
Addicts drop dead.
Please don’t let your addict die.
Fuck that, fuck dat, pick your addict up and save them.
True, but another point, family and friends of an addict may need to walk away at some point. We can’t allow an addict to rule our lives for years and bring us down.

My Life with Diabetes: An overabundance of caution →
diabetty:
Yesterday I got sick out of the blue. I was fine when I woke up. Had a fairly typical breakfast (an egg scrambled with zucchini, grapes, whole-wheat bread, a little margarine), went to work, found out I’m getting a new job title and a slight raise (aww yeah!), the usual.
Around 11am I decided to…

The New York Attorney General is suing over MERS →

This is exciting and very relevant to what I do. But … I guess it’s pretty boring to everybody else.
This lawsuit might as well be a one-act play entitled “Why Barney Frank Is Retiring”. Alternate titles include “Why Chris Dodd and Barney Frank Should Never Have Been Trusted With FinReg” and “Because County Registrars Have THEIR Shit Together?”

Draiden is in MCV
For what looks like appendicitis. His brother is going to call me after they do a cat scan. Send good thoughts his way.
Edited 2/5/12 10:20 AM. Kidney stones. He’s got the *good* drugs :) and he’s doing well.

I was forced to watch Darren Criss do a MJ crotch grab & eeheehee!
However, I can’t help but point out the irony that the two major rival glee groups sing I’m Bad to each other. No chains? No ginourmous sunglasses? Not a single bandana, adorning a head, wrist, or ankle?!

This post is probably not safe for work, or safe in general because it’s on the gross side. It definitely errs on the side of too much information. But my friend Michelle insisted that I write about today’s adventures. We have also named today “Fun Shit Friday.”
I had to do a stool sample test…

THERE ARE PORTAL LEVELS IN LBP
Life will never be the same.
I love you, Richmond

But you continue to not be either Portland or Seattle or anywhere between, and I am not sure how much longer I can handle that.
How I wish I could move to Portland
