Bought a skirt suit for the interview week after. I am debating if the sleeves need a small bit of shortening. It may need a quarter of an inch? I don’t like clothes on my wrists which is unavoidable in a suit. I forgot what it feels like to wear normal office garb; it’s so constricting as compared to my telework floppy dresses. And shoes? OMG so used to wearing my Cole Hahn slides with the Nike food bed that heels seem like torture.

I met some of the folks I could be working with at Susanne’s cookout on Sunday. It really is a small world in housing finance; I was the COTR on one dude’s contract a few years ago and I recognized some people that used to be at HUD.

Knee status

A week and a few days after the mega fall, my left knee still has a huge scab. Yoga and any other exercise that requires being on my knees (oh that sounds dirty) is out of the question. Maybe the end of the week will get me back to my regular exercise program. Doing a lot of ab work and Zumba in the meantime.

Case-Shiller printed 2.6% YOY housing price declines. This is being reported as a slight gain because March monthlies were up 0.1%, shy of 0.2% expectations. But to me the real news is that prices set new post-crisis lows, indicating that the bottom in housing still does not appear to exist.

Fuck me. Even I thought we were done after Q1.
